1 Definitions

Jobnest, we, us, our: Jobnest (Pvt) Ltd and its authorised representatives.
Candidate, Applicant, you: A person who creates an account or uses Jobnest to search or apply for jobs.
Employer: A foreign company, employer, or agency publishing/receiving applications via Jobnest.
Foreign Job: Employment opportunity for work outside Sri Lanka.
Application Service: Technical service to submit applications, CVs, and documents to employers.
User Content: CV, photograph, profile info, video, educational certificates, or submitted materials.

2 Nature of the Jobnest Service

• Jobnest is a digital platform facilitating communication between candidates and employers.
• Jobnest does not guarantee employment.
• Submitting an application does not mean a candidate is shortlisted, interviewed, or selected.
• Recruitment decisions, salary, visa sponsorship, and contract terms are solely made by the employer.
• Candidates must independently evaluate the suitability and authenticity of foreign vacancies.

3 Foreign Job Application Service Fees

• Service fees are clearly displayed before payment confirmation.
• Payment is purely an application/service fee and is NOT a payment for obtaining guaranteed employment.
• Fees do not guarantee interviews, selection, visas, work permits, air travel, or Sri Lanka departure.
• Fees are non-refundable solely because an applicant was not shortlisted or selected.

4 Candidate Responsibility

Candidates must read full job descriptions, check qualifications, verify working conditions, ensure accurate identity details, and obtain legal advice if needed before accepting contracts.

5 No Guarantee of Recruitment

Jobnest is not the employer for foreign vacancies. Jobnest is not liable for employer rejections, vacancy cancellations, salary changes, or interview cancellations.

6 Job Vacancy Information

Jobnest reserves the right to suspend or remove any job posting reasonably believed to be fraudulent, misleading, outdated, or unlawful.

7 Candidate Account & Security

Candidates must provide accurate details, keep password credentials confidential, and immediately report unauthorized account access.

8-10 CV, Photo & Video

Candidates authorize Jobnest to store and transmit application materials. Uploading pictures or videos is optional unless required. Candidates grant Jobnest a non-exclusive license to process and transmit these files to relevant employers.

11-12 User Content & Privacy

Users retain ownership of original content. Personal data (Name, Contact Details, CV, Passport info) is handled according to Sri Lankan data protection laws and the Jobnest Privacy Policy.

13-16 International Data Transfers

Applying for foreign jobs involves transferring data to foreign employers outside Sri Lanka. Jobnest implements encryption and security measures to protect data integrity.

17-20 Fraud Prevention

Forged documents, fake qualifications, scraping, or impersonation will lead to instant account suspension. Scam Warning: Jobnest will never ask for money for guaranteed jobs or visas outside official channels.

21-24 Visa, Immigration & SLBFE

Visas and work permits are granted strictly by foreign government authorities. Candidates must comply with Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) registration guidelines where applicable.

25-32 Platform Availability & Liability

Application service fees are non-refundable once processed. Jobnest limits liability for employer misconduct or foreign workplace disputes to the extent permitted by Sri Lankan law.

33-37 Governing Law & Final

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Continued use of Jobnest services constitutes acceptance of all terms.
